MasterPeace Awarded With GENE Global Education Youth Award 2024

Our Journey to Winning the 2024 Global Education Youth Award!
Do you know what’s better than having our dedication to education appreciated? Seeing it celebrated on a global stage! We were overjoyed to learn that MasterPeace Global is one of the 14 awardees of the 2024 Global Education Youth Award. Months of passion, creativity, and persistence paid off most unforgettably.
This award isn’t just a win — it’s a celebration of the power of youth-led change. From idea to impact, this journey proves that when young leaders lead, the world follows.

What is GENE?
GENE (Global Education Network Europe) is a network of ministries, agencies, and organizations across Europe committed to promoting and improving Global Education. Through capacity building, funding opportunities, and recognition initiatives like the Global Education Youth Award, GENE highlights and supports the most impactful educational initiatives addressing global challenges. They aim to ensure that more European people have access to high-quality global education that promotes solidarity, sustainability, and active citizenship. Winning this award places MasterPeace Global among a select group of initiatives shaping the future of education and youth empowerment.

The Seed of an Idea
It all started with a dream to make the F(U)tu(re)_Proof MasterPeace Bootcamp bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever before. The vision was clear — we wanted to bring together young leaders worldwide to build skills and share knowledge in AI, sustainability, digital innovation, Doughnut Economics, Artivism, and human rights education. This wasn’t just another training event; it was about redefining how youth can lead global change.

When we first saw the call for applications for the Global Education Youth Award, we knew this was a chance to showcase our youth-led team’s incredible work.

The Application Process

Writing the application wasn’t easy. We had to distill the essence of the F(U)tu(re)_Proof Bootcamp — its impact, its unique approach, and its potential for lasting change — into a concise, compelling story. How do you put the heart of a movement into a few pages? The answer: you center the story around the people.

We highlighted the youth-led approach, creative methodologies like Artivism and Doughnut Economics, and our global connections. We shared personal moments, like the joy on participants’ faces during the Model UNESCO experience or Peace March and the powerful reflections that emerged from our workshops. Every word of that application was a labor of love, with the hope that the reviewers would see the passion behind every activity and initiative.

The Wait and the Win – What It Means for MasterPeace?
Winning this award celebrates our entire community globally. It reminds us that when young people lead, incredible things happen. The award also amplifies our message to the world: that youth-driven initiatives are not just “nice-to-have”—they are essential for creating a sustainable future.

This award opens new doors for partnerships, resources, and opportunities. It allows us to scale the F(U)tu(re)_Proof Bootcamp to new heights. Most importantly, it validates our approach of youth-led design and reinforces our commitment to global education, sustainability, and social justice.

Looking Ahead
With this recognition, we’re more inspired than ever to push the boundaries of what’s possible. The next F(U)tu(re)_Proof Bootcamp will be even more dynamic, inclusive, and impactful. We’re ready to engage more youth, train more changemakers, and create even greater waves of impact.
